In case yall didn't know, last night, the NEW YORK YANKEES won their 27th World Series Championship; their first in 9years!! The win came in Game6 of the World Series against the Philadelphia Phillies. Andy Pettite pitched a good 5innings. Hideki Matsui played great, earning him the World Series MVP trophy. Mariano Rivera closed the game out beautifully like he gets paid to do. All in all, this postseason for the Yankees was a great team effort; from Minnesota to LA to Philly. Now, I'm more of a Mets fan than a Yankees fan but I'll still always choose NY over anywhere else. Congrats to the Yankees on #27.
