I NORMALLY don't do Saucony sneakers..but these caught my eye when I saw em. All sneakers in this Varsity Pack include a base of white leather and meshes with either red, yellow, or blue accents. They are expected to drop in May & I think they are a good look.

The time has come. After almost a complete year, the Nike Air Yeezy will FiNALLY be released this Saturday. Unfortunately, as we've been told before, it will only be released in select Nike retailers spread across the country; places being 21 Mercer Street, the House of Hoops in Harlem, and both the Footlocker and Footaction stores on 34th Street in New York City. The first colorway that will be released on Saturday is the Zen Grey/Light Charcoal colorway. I'm sure these will be on a number of people's feet this weekend. Fresh.

This shoe is a good look. Set to be released next month, the Air Jordan 1 Retro Hare features Bugs Bunny on the tongue doing the "Jumpman" pose with the word "Hare" across the tongue on on the heel. If you haven't noticed, this shoe was inspired by the Air Jordan Retro 7 Hare a.k.a. the original "Bugs Bunny's." I expect to see these on a lot of people's feet. Fresh.

OOOOOOWWWWW! The time is coming.... Air Jordan will be re-releasing one of its best & most-loved pairs of sneakers later this year. The Air Jordan Xi "Space Jam" [named this because they were on his feet in the movie] will be back in stores. There's no SET release date, but it is said to be put out in time for Christmas. They feature a black upper w/ patent leather, a white midsole, clear outsole, and varsity royal Jumpman logo. These are one of my fav. pairs. FRESH!

The Nike Sportswear Air Yeezys are catching a lot of attention: some good, some bad. There are debated and mixed reviews over how the shoe looks and the styling/features of it. Personally, I like the shoe..but of course, there are people who don't. One thing I can say I don't like is the change in the upper. Honestly, the shoe doesn't look as good as it did when Kanye wore it in his Glow in the Dark tour, but it's a shoe I'd still buy if it was w/in my price range, but it doesn't seem like it will be. The shoe is priced right now at about $250..I don't think it's worth it. I'm sure there are many ppl out there that do.

In his blog, Kid Cudi claims that after the release of his debut album and a collaboration album with Chip the Ripper, he will cease to make albums. Apparently, he's already too stressed out by everything that comes with the industry: "THE DRAMA THAT COMES WITH IT IS MORE OVERWHELMING THAN THE SHIT I WAS DEALING WIT WHEN I WAS PISS POOR BROKE. MY FRIENDS GET MAD AT ME, SAY IVE CHANGED..I ALREADY WENT TO HIGH SCHOOL ONCE, AND GOT EXPELLED CUZ IT WASNT FOR ME. IMA DROP OUT THIS SHIT BEFORE NIGGAZ TRY AND CRUCIFY ME. For real Kid Cudi fans, this will be very disappointing, seeing as his debut album hasn't even been released yet. Only time will tell what will really happen, but this is wild. Once the man starts to taste success, haters pull him down. For people reading this, know that yall could do whatever. If there are people trying to knock you down, deter you, or discourage you from your goals, push them out the way. No one needs people in his or her life that won't work to improve it. Period. So just DO YOU..that's all I have to say.

I ended the last post with a preview of what I'd be writing about in this one. I was slippin when I didn't include this guy in my top new artists of 2009 [see older posts].



Asher Roth, in appearance, is your average college kid. However, with his appearance comes an abundance of skill as a lyricist. He is part of what I see as a reversion of hip-hop back to being fun and containing purely GOOD lyrics, not stupid catch phrases with a simple beat. He goes right along with KiD CuDi, Drake, Charles Hamilton, and The Cool Kids, but, he has his own style, of course; as do all the other artists I just named. He keeps his rhymes very real and personal and just speaks on his life; not trying to be a gangsta or a balla or anything like that. He just does his thing. If you listen to his songs or freestyles, you'll see what I mean. He put out a mixtape called "The Greenhouse Effect" last year, but his debut album, "Asleep in the Bread Aisle" is set to release this April. I'm looking forward to it.

SPRiNG BREAK!!

So, today officially marks my first spring break of college. This year I'm gonna just take it easy and go back home to relax. So, Palm Beach [Wellington =_=] here I come!! lol. I will be traveling all down south though; Broward & Miami. Especially, South Beach [as seen @the top of this post]! The 60+ Collezione Pack coming out this fall will include different number Jordans with the colorways of the five diff. teams Michael Jordan scored 60+ pts. against. These 7s were inspired by the original colors of one of those teams, the Orlando Magic. However, this is just a sample so the final outcome of the shoe may look diff.

These shoes were last released in 2003 and are coming back due to their popularity and high demand. They feature a Nubuck upper with a hint of UNC blue. They are scheduled for release in May 2009.

Kickin off the mth of March nicely..I present to you, the HiGHLY ANTiCiPATED Nike Sportswear Air Yeezy. People caught the first glimpses of the shoe during Mr. West's extremely successful 2008 Glow in the Dark Tour. They could be seen on the multi-platinum selling, Grammy-award winning, recording artist's feet during his performances. The "space boots" actually glowed in the dark. The sneaker is set to release in Spring 2009. Three colorways will be available. The first in April 2009 will be the Zen Grey/LT Charcoal color way.The second in May 2009 will be a Black/ Black version, and in June 2009 with the final Net/Net color way. Kanye himself had part in the designs of the shoe, with his main focus besides originality and appearance being comfort. The shoe is "equipped with debossed ankle collar pods for added support and protection, extra-thick sock liners, a forefoot support strap, original functional tension lace loops, and Phylon tooling taken from the 1987 Nike Air Assault for added performance and comfort. Added to all of these are premium full grain leather uppers and a unique outsole. "The remastered Nike Air Assault outsole is treated to glow-in-the-dark properties and will illuminate when the light is low. The forefoot support strap is premium grade patent leather and is of no-stitch construction. Clean seams are used throughout except for a premium suede toe wrap feature with visible stitch detail. Emblazoned across the Air Yeezy is an exclusive “Y” repeat pattern, as either a debossed or lasered detail, which takes inspiration from the Jordan brands iconic Elephant print material." This shoe embodies both Nike's flair and Kanye's uniqueness. It will be on many people's feet soon..make sure you get a pair for yourself.
