CSA @ UCF is having our annual CSA Week [09/26 - 10/03], starting this Saturday with our "Did You Misplace Your Fashion Sense" Expo on how to properly dress for specific occasions. The week will be filled with other great events, such as socials, forums, food, music & dancing, community service, and OF COURSE, partying. [That really shouldn't be the most important thing but we do understand that there are limited party events for Caribbean people or people that love Caribbean music & culture.] Of course, you don't have to be Caribbean to join in ANYTHiNG we do; we strive for diversity. What's good world? Been a few days since my last post but that's the life of a college kid. I won't be able to blog as much as I'd like to but I will when I can. The past few days have been great. Bonding with my lady, my cuzzo, & my CSA fam. CSA had our DeuceDeuce Party, which turned out better than what I thought it'd be, so I was real glad about that. Earlier this morning, I did the Ropes Course on campus w/ our E-Board & that was great to. I learned a lot about teamwork, coordination, strength, and about the others & myself as a leader. We will go forward & take CSA where we want it to go.

Iight iight iight..when I was watchin this on the VMAs, I really thought this was staged or something. I thought it was too crazy to be real. But it was. KanYe was a lil drunk off the Henny. It aint no excuse, because what he did to Taylor Swift during her Video of the Year acceptance speech was wrong. I spent my nite tryna defend his actions but fact is, dude was wrong. But honestly, by now, everyone should know that KanYe says AND does what he wants. It doesn't mean he's always right because he isn't. But it's him. He stated his opinion & was real with it; just in an inappropriate way & setting. But hey, at the end of the day, is he really gonna lose fans? NO!! He probably ended up gaining some. Whoever claims not to be a fan of his now wasn't really a fan of his in the first place. I don't think anybody thought Taylor Swift was gonna win. Most people I seen tweeting on Twitter thought Beyonce had it in the bag. So really, Kanye just said what everyone was thinking. Just in a very wrong way. As everyone knows, today is the 8-year "anniversary" of the 9/11 attacks on U.S. soil. A day that will forever be remembered as tragic, devastating, & life-changing in many ways. As a person who saw what happened from the 3rd floor of that science class in Schuyler, I can attest to that. Only word I could say back then was "Whaa...." But now, 8 years later, we remember. It's funny to be in NY whenever I go back since that time & know that two HUGE buildings used to be seen clearly from the bridge. It's just crazy.

Really Son??
Yesterday, President Barack Obama delivered his speech on health care reform to Congress. The speech shot down opposition from his plan's critics & urged those critics to stop adding to the problem and start adding to the solution, yet welcomed assistance with ways to improve plans of reform through bipartisanship [both parties working together] at the same time. During the speech, when Pres. Obama was speaking on who the health benefits would apply to, he received boos and even one wild remark from his opposers. A Representative from South Carolina named Joe Wilson decided blurting out, "You lie," after a sentence from the President was the right thing to do. This was crazy to me because it showed how childish & disrespectful people are. Regardless of how you feel towards a person or his or her views, you should be able to respect that person enough for him or her to get a point across. This idiot couldn't even do that & caught so much heat from it, leading to him disconnecting his phone lines & putting his official website, Facebook, and Twitter offline LMBO. This fool should have kept his mouth shut. But what was even funnier was Obama's reaction. He's definitely one of us....looking like my moms when I say something she doesn't like. Haha. Peep.
