R.i.P. Michael Jackson [TTV #8]

Icon. Legend. King.

The "King of Pop" Michael Jackson was pronounced dead today at 2:26PM PacificTime [5:26PM on our side] at the age of 50. The best performer ever impacted the world in a way no other has with his music. He brought together the world in times when there was soo much going on. He is the highest-selling artist in the world EVER, with over 750million albums sold worldwide. Even through all the problems in his life with his father, career pressures, & legal allegations, he never failed to touch us with his music. I didn't grow up on his music like our parents did & it shocked them the most. Moms cmae home with tears running down her cheeks & made us go in the car to listen to his songs with her, telling us how people were affected by him & his music in her day. It was sad to see, but this death hits all generations rite now. There will never be another person to affect the world with music the way he has..he lives on in us all thru his music, dances, heehees & shamons..we have to pass it 2those after us. He is the definition of "swagger." What other man do yall know could wear leather jackets with madd zippers, rock glitter gloves & glitter suits, AND make highwaters cool?? He is the greatest. Everyone who dances or sings R&B does so because of him. His legacy will live on forever.

R.i.P. Michael Joseph Jackson..you're only gone to the Earth..not in our hearts.

Ima play his songs on here for the next week.

I haven't done this in three weeks but here's the Throwback Thursday Video for this week. My favorite Michael Jackson song.

  1. I totally agree he is the TRUE def. of [swagger]! Truly the greatest! No matter what he went thru he still ended up coming out on top && setting an example for all age groups! && the last part was the cutest cuz nobody else in THEE WORLD....can make a leather jacket with glitter gloves and high water pants look FRESH!
He was an amazing man...that touched many && will be greatly missed!
