The question "What is good hair?" is one that has been asked for many years in the black community. It's a debate between "good" [straight] and "bad" [nappy] hair..smDh. I've always thought this was stupid; my mother is a black woman who hasn't had a relaxer since the early years of my life & she's beautiful, not even just because she's my mothee..she had an afro & now she got locks & aint nothing wrong with that. Putting chemicals & burning your hair never appealed to me..but I guess that's something I just won't ever understand. To me, there is no "good" or "bad" hair..it don't matter to me the texture of a woman's hair as long as it's kept nice or depending on the situation [going out or going to sleep]. But of course, society has put pressures on black women over soo many years to have to look a certain way that this stupid question even comes up. It must hurt parents to hear their daughter ask why she doesn't have good hair. This is what happened to Chris Rock so he decided to film his journey to find out the answer to this question. What are yall thoughts on this whole situation man?
